CVS Health Sr Consultant Account Management in WORK FROM HOME, Kansas

Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Account Manager responsible for exceeding client expectations of CVS Specialty while supporting health plans in their management of specialty medical utilization via our proprietary Novologix technology. Emphasis will be placed upon Prior Authorization, Medical Rebates, and Claims Editing. The Sr. Account Manager will be responsible for maintaining day to day business relationships, under minimal supervision, with key client personnel. While working with health plans, the Sr. Account Manager will ensure strategic objectives, key issues, and associated feedback is captured and tracked accordingly. Additional responsibility includes the basic understanding of Novologix and the ability to use expertise to resolve client questions and concerns. The Sr. Account Manager will be responsible for an assigned client base in addition to supporting national, key strategic accounts. Furthermore, he/she will be responsible for maintaining the performance of contracted programs and services associated with these accounts. Support will include the management of expectations while also ensuring all action items and deliverables are followed up upon in a timely fashion. In partnership with others on the team, the Sr. Account Manager will be responsible for delivering periodic readouts to Novologix leadership. This is a fantastic opportunity to be able to express leadership capabilities while assisting with innovative Novologix projects and initiatives. The position has extensive visibility to Sr. leadership in day to day interactions and working sessions. Responsibilities may include the oversight of direct reports, depending upon client need. May include overnight travel of 10-15%.Additional responsibilities for the Sr. Account Manger include:- Act as Team Lead for key initiatives as assigned and participate in cross-departmental projects.- Take initiative to collect and disseminate new product information to peers.- Actively develop and participate in mentoring new peers and colleagues.- Maintain an accurate list of IT prioritization as it relates to client requests, and update client to maintain and exceed their expectations.- Attend and lead client conference calls on routine basis.- Assist in creation and maintenance of Client and Provider User Manuals, Training Videos, Step by Steps and Quick Reference Guides.- Create agendas and schedules, while facilitating internal and external meetings with parties as appropriate.- Document and track open items via current tracking system.- Work closely with internal and external teams to proactively identify actual and potential problems.- Facilitate discussions with appropriate team members and institute preventive steps to ensure tasks are completed accurately and according to agreed upon timelines.- Proactively identify and escalate critical issues where company resources and capabilities do not meet client expectations.- Perform other projects, work, and activities as assigned to ensure continuous positive service to our internal and external customers.

Required Qualifications

  • 2 Years of experience in managing clients- 3 Years of experience in the healthcare space, preferably managed care

Preferred Qualifications

  • Tech experience strongly preferred- Create efficient processes for both internal and external customers- Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills- Ability to be flexible and change direction as needed- Ability to motivate and drive team to successful, on-time results- Ability to manage complex groups and prioritize competing objectives- Experience in product ideation and custom product design- Facilitation and organizational skills; demonstrated ability to follow-up and follow through on tasks


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience may be considered
