Staff VP Enterprise Benefits Administration, Strategy & Planning

Responsible for clearly defining and driving strategic goals within the Enterprise Benefits Administration (EBA) as well as the development, definition, and execution of EBA’s transformative roadmap. Partner with key strategic initiative leaders (i.e., Migrations, Modular, Rx 2020, Cost of Care, Transformation, etc.) and EBA organization to analyze, recommend, and prioritize measurable steps to achieve transformative improvements and growth factoring in multiple initiatives. Owner of Agile Product Configuration Agile Release Train, including prioritization and execution of transformative initiatives; Conducts regular organizational reviews to identify strengths and weaknesses to evaluate operational effectiveness and revise transformational roadmap as needed. Understands the various ongoing work efforts within EBA from a comprehensive end to end perspective and ensures work is not duplicated, gaps are filled, and all upstream and downstream functions and business owners. Identifies and removes roadblocks for execution against strategic goals and transformational roadmap. Maintains and adjusts EBA Transformative Roadmap as goals, decisions, and company directions change. Creates business case models to communicate benefits and return of strategic investments or other strategic recommendations. Uses data analysis to make key conclusions for comprehensive recommendations. Utilizes leadership skills to manage largescale cross functional initiatives and applies Agile Framework methodologies to create sustainable processes for work intake, work prioritization, and resource prioritization model for EBA transformative projects. Provides leadership to develop an overall approach to improve benefits organization, end-to-end design, development, execution leveraging best practices delivery models for building a common set of capabilities across the enterprise and improving core competencies around benefits administration. Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.

Staff VP Enterprise Benefits Administration, Strategy & Planning

Requires a BA/BS in a related field; 10+ years of experience with deep and extensive business knowledge, including operations, product knowledge, benefit customization, sales processes, underwriting, familiarity with IT and Program Management processes, including 5 years of progressive healthcare leadership experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. MBA preferred. Ability to travel required.
