Maintain equipment yard in an organized and good working order. Perform final inspections on machines ensuring a quality, clean, and work ready machine is delivered. * * RESPONSIBILITIES: - Report safety violations to supervisor.- Comply with government safety requirements and other regulations and security in store.- Perform weekly inventory of Foley assets. - Prepare equipment for daily reservation.- Check rental contracts to be sure the right equipment goes out.- Prep equipment prior to loading.- Check fluid levels and test operation of equipment before loading.- Instruct customers in the proper use of equipment and demonstrate operation when necessary.- Scan equipment during shipping and receiving process.- Wash & thoroughly clean rental and sales inventory equipment.- Check equipment for damage upon return, report damage and fill out service tags for all returned equipment.- Inspection and reporting of machine condition returning from rentals, and before delivery. - Report any needed repairs to management.- Perform minor repairs and maintenance to sales machines - i.e. oil levels, lights, grease, tire pressure, replacing damaged parts, etc.- Communicate clearly and promptly with counter equipment requests/inquiries.- Perform attachment swaps as needed - i.e. bucket swaps, remove and install quick couplers, hydraulic hammers, etc.- Manage inventory of sales attachments - i.e. buckets, snow plows, rippers, etc.- Secure loaded equipment per company procedure and inspect in transit if necessary.- Load and unload machines from factory, customer machines, and rental machines.- Maintain monthly fuel log and daily fuel inventory. - Inform supervisor of low inventory levels. - Organize yard and warehouse as defined by management.- Perform daily shipping/receiving task within IMETRIX program. - Fill propane cylinders.- Open and close all gates on company yard daily.- Maintain clean physical facilities.- Introduce customers to new lines of equipment that would fulfill their project needs. - Perform loading and unloading of customer repair items for Service Department - i.e. buckets, undercarriage, engines, transmissions, bore/welding parts, hydraulic cylinders, etc.- Drive to deliver and pick up equipment and supplies as needed.* * SKILLS:- Basic computer skills and the ability to learn to effectively use company software - with training. - Strong oral and written communication skills. - Ability to perform minor repairs and diagnostic work on all makes of equipment. - Positive customer service skills. - A basic understanding of the terminology related to the products and services that the company sells. - Familiarity and working knowledge of equipment, its use and how equipment is operated. - Must have valid driver's license. * * REQUIREMENTS: - High school diploma or equivalent. - One to three months of related experience and/or training. - Basic repair and diagnostic experience with various types of rental equipment.
