Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy Wind Turbine Service Technician in Wichita, Kansas

Performs quality troubleshooting and maintenance in order to deliver the best product possible to the customer.

*Performs cleaning, greasing, and adjustments for minor and major maintenance.

Supports 24/7 operation of wind farm in order to maintain contractual availability.Including night shift/12 hour + days.* Coordinates and accomplishes defined service operations and/or troubleshooting of wind turbines.Practices professional behavior and communication skills in order to relay updates to customer. Follows procedures and safe practice during all tasks and activities.

In order to develop experience on platform new candidates will begin with maintenance of the turbines. This includes thoroughly cleaning, greasing, and servicing of hydraulic components. Technician will occasionally be required to climb 114 m turbines. After gaining enough platform experience technician will then be able to attend the second step of training in order to become qualified on troubleshooting.

Technician must be able to take ownership and demonstrate leadership qualities.

Site is located in Moran, KS.
