Training Supervisor

Responsibilities


+ Principal Accountabilities (The following is intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed.' It is not an exhaustive list of all expectations.):


+ Establishes and coordinates an organization-wide approach to training and development.


+ Defines and documents cost-effective training and development plans; manages changes to plans, as needed, due to priority and need changes.


+ Conducts up to four levels of training measurements per course to determine training effectiveness; recommends changes to design, development, or delivery as needed.


+ Develops and maintains a training catalog outlining all internal and external courses provided by the organization.


+ Hires, trains, supervise, motivate, and develop training and development staff; manages schedules and workflow.


+ Assigns duties and monitors quality of work; assures staff conforms to organizational policies and procedures and government regulations.


+ Coordinates the documentation and tracking of completed training.


+ Defines minimum skill proficiencies for critical positions and develops a process for evaluating incumbents for the purpose of identifying strengths and weaknesses.


+ Provides internal consulting to individuals and departments on training and development opportunities that will enhance their performance.
