Responsibilities
Key Accountabilities:
Will interface with shop personnel daily and identify remedial training needs and formulate plans of delivering training
Utilize current curriculum/instructor guides to confidently present technical training
Facilitate multiple classes related to the Onboarding process
Conduct certification training sessions, product demonstrations, and develop criteria for evaluating effectiveness of training activities
Maintain personnel certifications
Provide classroom training as needed
Work with organizations and employees on coaching activities
Develop and lead projects
Develop and maintain working relationships with organizations
Conduct certification training sessions, product demonstrations, and criteria for evaluating effectiveness of training activities.
Provide workplace training as needed.
Collaborate with other employees of the human resources organization to assist with processes and systems to effectively attract, reward, and motivate Spirit's workforce.
Work with new employees throughout the assembly process in providing the necessary coaching to make them successful.
Be able to do data collection of employees progress and attendance throughout training.
Qualifications
Required:
Must currently have DOD clearance
At least 5 years of shop experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
Excellent communication skills
Great attitude, patience, and flexibility
Must be able to work any shift
Self-Starter and able to multi-task with little to no supervision.
Preferred:
9-10 years of related experience or a Bachelor's degree plus 5-6 years of related experience
Have a passion for helping/coaching employees and to teams be successful.
Recognized as a subject matter expert of their area of expertise and an active on the job mentor/trainer.
Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment as well as work independently
Strong communication and computer skills
Worked in or knowledge of multiple areas of sheet metal
Ability to learn quickly
Ability to read blueprints
