Description

JOB SUMMARY:

Assist employees in succeeding their assignments in a manner that promotes a safe working environment. Helps to improve quality and productivity by promoting and establishing a safe workplace.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide standardized direction and guidance to employees in the areas of safety, quality, and technical skills.

  • Assist production supervision in identifying training needs.

  • Conduct presentations and practical activity training for employees on all shifts on an individual basis.Identify and initiate training needs resulting from safety or quality issues. Ensure training follow-up activities are on schedule and skills checklist are properly conducted and kept updated.

  • Establish relationships with all levels of management, inspectors, and production employees to provide the continuously changing needs in the manufacturing processes.

  • Monitor trends in performance, conduct instructional training classes, give technical presentations, and participate in problem-solving activities that promote continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Organize and maintain training information.

  • Perform other duties as necessary.

Qualifications

EDUCATION:

High school diploma or equivalent. Experience with computer systems, including MS Office and general database management.

EXPERIENCE:

Minimum five years technical experience in areas such as, quality assurance, paint, electrical, etc. Previously held experience in dealing with safety issues and concerns within the production environment with practical understanding of the needs and functions.
