PDS Tech is currently recruiting for a Structural Design Engineer in Wichita, KS!

Job Title: Structural Design Engineer

Job Type: Full time; contract 12 months

Location: Wichita, KS 67210 (Onsite)

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Pay Rate: $50.98 per hour

Job Description:

As a Structural Design Engineer, you will apply your knowledge of engineering and physical science principles, materials, and tools in a collaborative environment to develop, integrate, document, and evaluate flight vehicle structure designs. Your focus will be on ensuring performance, functional adequacy, cost effectiveness, manufacturability, and compliance with customer and regulatory requirements. Areas of expertise may include:

  • Primary and secondary structure design

  • Payloads design

  • Weights

  • Lofting

Requirements:

  • Boeing Experience: We seek a candidate with Design Engineering (DE) experience, particularly with OEMs like Boeing. Experience with the 787 aircraft is highly preferred.

  • Experience: Recommended minimum of 3-5 years in structural design engineering.

Pay Details: $50.98 per hour
