Sr Java Developer


Leverage in-depth technical knowledge and programming skills to develop, implement and maintain business solutions. As a lead technical position, this role is a key voice in setting direction and providing guidance on how to best leverage technology to achieve business outcomes. Participate as a member of a fast-paced production support team, provides superior customer support in incident resolution and collaborates cross-functionally to determine feasibility of design, ensure code quality and deliver releases for enhancement projects. and incident management.


1. Provide technical support and participates in on-call rotation to resolve critical application issues according to stated SLA's.

2. Act as a subject matter expert in the discovery and investigation of critical production issues.

3. Perform complex programming assignments requiring an expert understanding of established programming standards, methods and best practices.

4. Facilitate, acquire and interpret business requirements, create functional specifications and determines the most efficient/appropriate technologies.

5. Perform analysis of business models, logical specifications and/or customer requirements to design and build business solutions utilizing multiple technologies.

6. Contribute to, review and approve technical design of software solutions.

7. Provide technical and best practice consulting to management, business partners and team members.

8. Guide and collaborate with engineers and architects in continuous improvement initiatives.

9. Conduct research into new technologies, development practices and frameworks.

10. Mentor, coach and train application developers.

11. Guide developers in implementing solutions, resolving problems and performing code reviews.

12. Contribute to and follow development best practices such as version control, unit testing, continuous integration, performance and security testing, and appropriate documentation.

13. Ensure quality and maintain performance of deployed solutions.

14. Contribute, evolve and support Agile Scrum software development processes.

15. Assist with other projects as needed to contribute to efficiency and effectiveness of the organization.
