Job Summary:
As the Senior Talent Development Specialist at Equity Bank, you will be responsible for designing, developing and delivering effective talent development programs to support the growth and professional development of employees within the organization. Emphasis will be placed on our Leadership Development program. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders, assessing training needs and implementing strategies to enhance employee knowledge, skills, abilities and competencies.
Responsibilities & Expectations:
- Learning and Program Development
- Design and develop comprehensive learning programs and leadership development programs, including curriculum, training materials and resources.
- Create engaging and interactive learning contents, such as e-learning modules, workshops, webinars, programs and other training materials.
{=html} <!-- --> - Training Needs Analysis - Conduct thorough assessments to identify organizational and individual learning needs. - Collaborate with leadership to determine training priorities and objectives.
{=html} <!-- --> - Training Delivery - Facilitate training sessions in various formats, both in-person and virtually. - Utilize effective teaching methods and techniques to ensure the transfer of knowledge and skills.
{=html} <!-- --> - Learning Evaluation - Measure the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, surveys and feedback. - Continuously improve training content and methods based on evaluation results.
{=html} <!-- --> - Learning Technology - Stay up-to-date with learning management systems and other relevant technologies. - Leverage technology to enhance the delivery and accessibility of training materials.
{=html} <!-- --> - Project Work - Participate in various projects as assigned by the Director of Talent Development and the Chief Human Resources Officer. - Other duties as assigned.
Who You Are:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Talent Development or a related field or equivalent experience. Masters Degree preferred.
- Several years of experience in corporate training.
- Experience in designing and delivering Leadership Development training.
- Experience with eLearning authoring tools;
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities and support multiple people and programs simultaneously with a strong attention to detail;
- Ability and desire to travel within Equity Banks footprint and meet and learn from leaders at our corporate office as well as throughout our banking locations
- Experience working in financial institution a plus.
- A role model for leading, coaching, managing, and developing employees;
- A keen understanding of how technology can be used to solve business challenges;
- An ability to actively participate in discussions with leadership to determine business drivers and map talent development efforts that support those goals;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to assimilate complex concepts and clearly articulate business value to leadership;
- Excellent one-on-one and group presentation skills;
- An interest in spearheading creative, scalable, and repeatable programming, with an ability to uncover untapped potential;
- Able to work in a cross-functional team environment with changing and evolving roles and responsibilities;
- An ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment
Physical Requirements:
This position requires standing, walking, bending, and squatting on a regular basis. May require the ability to stoop, kneel, crouch or reach with hands and arms. Requires the ability to carry, lift, move or push up to 25 pounds on an occasional basis. Must be able to talk and listen to others.
Work Environment:
This position regularly works in an office setting. Most of the job duties require the employee to be working with computers and electronic media on a regular basis.
