ROLE SUMMARY




As the Senior Analyst, Media & Creative Sciences, you will be a key member of the Marketing Sciences team responsible for Cox Communications’ residential efforts to develop an analytically driven unified media/message mix and comprehensive marketing investment optimization strategy. Combining the knowledge of investment and impact modeling, message mix/creative analysis techniques, advanced analytical skills, as well as a solid aptitude of the media landscape, will enable Cox to dramatically improve its marketing efficiency and media effectiveness. This Senior Analyst will partner with external and internal teams – media, creative, marketing mix & attribution modeling partners and agencies, such as Analytic Partners, Visual IQ, FCB and iProspect/Vizeum; Customer and Non-Customer Strategy, Brand, Consumer Insights, and Sales Strategy. This member will lead the day-to-day management of high-impact initiatives to deliver on key marketing measurement enhancements and new partner on-boarding.




PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

+ Drive execution and play a key role on the measurement team by assisting in the development and implementation of a data-driven roadmap around unified media & creative impact analysis to help address marketing challenges and improve effectiveness

+ Project manage the day-to-day relationship of external marketing mix/attribution partners (cross-media, television and digital attribution), including ongoing data collection coordination across multiple teams/external partners, running frequent marketing investment optimization scenarios, and developing executive-ready marketing effectiveness read-outs

+ Partner with internal Data Architect & Consumer Analytics team to stand-up automated data infrastructure to support marketing analytics across multiple measurement solutions and partners

+ Partner with agencies to perform data audits and leverage analytic solutions that deliver insights that help the organization understand historical media/creative performance and recommendations for future media/creative optimization opportunities

+ Scope and configure end-to-end creative performance assessment solution with existing/new partners, including achieving internal alignment on appropriate performance assessment metrics by media channel, identifying required data systems to fuel measurement, and configuring dashboard for results monitoring & reporting

+ Lead forecasting trends across business drivers (competitive, economic, sales call volume, site traffic, etc.) and identify opportunities for driving business growth

+ Support the strategic planning process by providing forecasts, analysis and direction on media investment and creative messaging effectiveness

+ Perform quality checks on modeling activities to ensure validity and business sense


Qualifications:


Required:

+ 5+ years of analytic experience in attribution, marketing mix modeling, identity resolution and other cross-media & creative measurement solutions/techniques

+ Solid knowledge of the media & technology landscape as it pertains to advertising, including experience working with media/creative agencies, online & offline buying dynamics, and media performance metrics

+ Self-motivated to take initiative and maintain high expectations for quality work that delivers on needs of internal/external stakeholders

+ A self-starter eager to take on new challenges

+ Provides accurate, consistent numbers in a usable format and on a timely basis. Work requires little or no checking

+ Effective at prioritizing and managing multiple complex projects while working independently
