Responsible for all sales and retention of products for the parent corporation and its subsidiaries.
Participates in the formulation of the corporations overall policies and strategic planning with regard to the operation of the life insurance subsidiary corporation.
Acts as consumer advocate in the organization and provides feedback as to how well we are meeting insureds\' expectations. Delivers customer centric solutions.
Assists in the servicing of groups, hospitals, physicians, brokers, and other key influencers in difficult situations.
Keeps up to date with recent market and industry trends, competitors, and leading customer strategies.
Must be accessible via text, voice, and/or data, and is therefore expected to be available to timely respond during non-working hours as scheduled or needed.
Responsible for maintaining an awareness and understanding of the business unit recovery plan for the department worked and the corporation\'s business continuity program in general.
Assists in planning and in solving job activity problems associated with sales and retention.
Preparation and administration of the budget and oversight for business plans for the departments under their stewardship.
Through sales business plans, directs, coordinates and reviews performance.
Delegates responsibility for detailed accomplishments to other senior sales leadership and sales managers.
Direct supervision of the Director of External Sales, Director of Internal Sales, AICK Managers, and Administrative Assistant.
Indirectly supervises regional managers, SEHP, National & Special Account Representatives, salaried Senior Group Sales Consultants, Group Sales Consultants, Group Sales Advisors, SBAS, SBAR & other internal sales staff, Regional Operations Managers and hourly Account Administrators, District Coordinators, Administrative Assistants, and Service Specialists.
Monitors performance as it relates to Corporate Objectives and makes adjustments where necessary.
Counsels immediate subordinates through individual coaching sessions and annual performance evaluations.
Delegates responsibility and authority necessary to meet organizational objectives.
Analyzes sales and marketing activities across the State to determine the appropriateness of current policies and indicate changes where appropriate.
Formulates, directs, and monitors policy and Sales Staff performance within the Internal and External Sales Departments.
Make presentations at Board of Directors meeting regarding AICK sales activities and business plans.
