Position Purpose:

  • Utilize product knowledge to analyze and interpret customer requests for product information.

  • Input product information into customer external systems

  • Maintain and update product information in customer external systems

  • Work with customers and gather data for additional production information requirements for external systems.

  • Utilize software knowledge to work with customers on data issues

  • Coordinate with external exchange network on connectivity issues and errors

Principal Accountabilities:

Accountability: Understanding of regulations on food labeling

70%Responsible for product information to external systems

  • Maintains accurate information in system.

  • Work with customers on requests for unique product information

  • Helps determine the current and potential impact of regulations to specific Business Units.

Accountability: Technology Strategy/Management

20%Provides expertise to external network and external customers on system issues

  • Address and follow up on issues that are occurring in external systems

  • Helps provide responses to questions related to issue submissions to customer systems

Accountability: Customer Support

10%Provide support for other customer projects

  • Any other duties as assigned


Required Qualifications:

  • High School diploma

  • This position requires a high level of proficiency using Microsoft Office tools and databases.

  • Strong organizational and accuracy skills.

  • Ability to work on many detailed projects at one time

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications:

  • College degree is preferred

  • Understanding of meat and poultry products
