The successful candidate will manage the sales and develop the staff within the northern tier region (MN, ND, SD, NE, MT, WY and the PNW) of the U.S. Driving growth, building strategy, and developing strong relationships with the team, retailers, dealers, distributors and head offices of key customers and targets is the primary function.The role will be homebased and located in the eastern part of the territory that is being supported.nn

A Day In The Life Typically Includes:

+ Lead N Plains team in developing and executing sales strategies and initiatives

n

+ Educate and train the customer on our products

n

+ Identify key targets and develop relationships with key decision makers

n

+ Lead customer evaluation/Segmentation development and practice

n

+ Communicate customer and field POV to broader KAS

n

+ MBM modeling and development

n

+ P&L owner and accountability for region

n

What You Will Need:

nBasic Qualifications:

nn


+ 5+ Years of field based value-added agriculture sales/marketing

n

+ 3+ Years of field based value-added agriculture sales/marketing management/supervision

n

+ Passionate, driven, self-starter with high activity level

n

+ Experience in crop, fertilizer, or chem, Ag business

n

+ Demonstratable skillset to include humility, collaboration, communication, and teamwork

n

+ Demonstratable strong economic thinking and decision-making capability

n

+ Proven ability to lead a team into business growth; set and achieve goals

n

+ Proven ability to build strong relationsh ps that translate into long term business success

n

+ Strong computer skills, including high level of experience with MS Office suite

n

+ Bachelor?s degree from accredited institution
