Registered Nurse Assault Examiner - Emergency Department 003 - St Joseph Hospital

3 12 hour shifts per week

7pm – 7am

What You Will Do

Licenses/Certifications/Registration:

  • Required Credential(s):

  • Certification specializing in Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner obtained within 36 Months (3 years) of hire date or job transfer date.

  • BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or transfer date.

  • Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing upon hire date or transfer date.

Education:

  • Diploma

  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required upon hire date or transfer date.

Work Experience:

  • Sexual Assault or ED RN experience preferred. Ability to work alone and extreme attention to detail needed for evidence collection.

What You Will Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 3 Months (90days) of hire date or job transfer date required.

  • Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing required.

  • Certification specializing in Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner preferred.

Education:

  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required. Completion of Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner training SANE-A within 12 months and completion of Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner training SANE-P within 16 months, if applicable.
