Job Description Summary:

The primary function is to assist the Kansas Recruitment and Retention Center (KRRC) in identifying qualified candidates to proceed in the recruitment process and providing support for KRRC staff. This is accomplished by developing a candidate pool of health care professionals by utilizing sourcing strategies currently established by the KRRC as well as researching additional effective strategies. This position must relate to candidates via the telephone, e-mail, and direct communication as this is integral in the continual development of the candidate database. This position will also look for new resources to promote KRRC services on an on-going basis. This position manages high-volume databases and tracks activity. In addition, this role is responsible for posting positions that KRRC receives from clients and maintaining accurate information on all web-based resources used by KRRC. This position is responsible for participating in direct mail campaigns, presentations, promotional activities, and exhibiting at career fairs and professional conferences. This position will also serve as the Kansas City campus representative. As such, this role is a key team member in building and maintaining relationships as well as coordinating KC campus activities.

Limited traveling, including overnight stays, is required. This position has the potential for a hybrid schedule (office and remote work locations).


Anticipated hiring range: $41,500 - $43,500

Required Qualifications:


Education:


+ Bachelor's degree in marketing, healthcare, business, human resources or related field or four years of equivalent experience


Work Experience:


+ Minimum of two years of experience in an office environment including significant communication with internal and external audiences


Skills:


+ Demonstrated ability to consistently keep attention detail while managing a high volume of information


+ Demonstrated organizational and coordination skills


+ Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products

+ + Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills


+ Experience working with spreadsheets, databases, and confidential information


+ Experience collecting information and creating reports


+ Exceptional customer service and multi-tasking skills


+ Demonstrated ability to be a team player and self-starter


+ Able to travel both in and out-of-state; will include some overnight travel. Must have valid driver's license and provide own transportation on occasion.


Preferred Qualifications:


Skills:


Knowledge of health care delivery system, elements of medical practice, and health care terminology


+ Experience in physician and/or healthcare recruitment or candidate sourcing


+ Knowledgeable about rural healthcare workforce


+ Experience with RMS software and/or onl ne healthcare job posting sites


Job Duties Outlined:


+ Utilize current resources and develop new resources to enhance candidate sourcing and build a larger candidate pool of healthcare providers.


+ Identify potential sourcing resources and present options to KRRC. When approved, ensure process moves forward and track results.


+ Coordinate and maintain KRRC operational processes such as the candidate screening system, initial candidate contact, schedule telephone interviews for recruitment staff, and collect candidate and client information for the purposes of moving the recruitment process forward.


+ Perform searches for candidates by utilizing websites, sourcing lists, conference and exhibit contacts, training program participants, library resources, and professional organizations. Determine which candidates qualify as a potential match and initiate contact.


+ Post new positions and ensure that job descriptions are up-to-date on on-line resources.


+ Respond daily by telephone and e-mail to inquiries from potential candidates to engage them in KRRC and/or RHES services.


+ Track activity of candidates sourced from on-line resources until they become a KRRC candidate or are deemed inactive.


+ Assist Manager in strategic tracking and reporting data as directed. Create monthly reports based on collected information.
