Job Title: Purchasing Agent

Job Description

Seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Purchasing Agent to manage the acquisition of raw material, hardware, equipment, production supplies, and services essential for the operation of a full-service aircraft parts manufacturer. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the purchase of the highest quality merchandise at the most competitive prices, developing profitable purchasing strategies, managing inventory, and monitoring shipments to ensure timely delivery. The role also includes verifying purchase orders, ensuring specifications and prices are correct, and resolving any discrepancies with suppliers.

Hard Skills

  • Proven experience as a purchasing agent

  • Experience in negotiating prices and terms and conditions

  • Capability to run and read planning reports

Job Type
