What are your contributions to the team?

• Coordinate, in conjunction with sales, the overall strategy for bid response; including identifying winning conditions

• Prepare technical presentations for customers showcasing Bombardier aircraft and Bombardier Defense capabilities

• Manage projects specific to the creation of written customer deliverables such as proposals in response to RFPs, RFI responses

• Sources sought notices, and white papers in support of aircraft sales, modification programs and/or engineering services or support activities

• Prepare, support and organize customer meetings and/or visits

• Plan meetings or technical reviews with internal stakeholders and customer prior to submittal of final proposal

• Plan the path to final proposal schedule to meet required timelines

• Manage internal and/or external resources and stakeholders such as engineering, contracts, finance, procurement or subcontractors during the proposal stage to establish program strategy and build proposals

• Plan overall initial program framework, budget and schedule

• Develop and/or manage documentation such as PWS, SOW and TSOR relating to aircraft modification and/or special mission engineering services

• Prepare management reviews and obtain management approvals through established processes and Bombardier policies

How to thrive in this role? Skills, knowledge & experience:

• You hold a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field

• You have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in engineering or technical program management at Bombardier Aerospace, and/or equivalent engineering activities related to Bombardier aircraft

• You have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in proposal and/or project management

• You have prior experience in US Government procurement processes and FAR/DFAR regulations

• You are a team player with initiative and excellent communication skills

• You have excellent customer-facing skills and experience are required

• You have the ability to effectively negotiate in-line with business objectives

• You are able to manage time and prioritize tasks effectively while working toward aggressive deadlines

• You have a strong technical knowledge of aircraft, aircraft systems and special mission equipment

• You have knowledge of ITAR and previous experience in government contracting exposure would be considered an asset

• You may be required to travel and work extended hours when required
