General Purpose:


Reporting to the President & COO, the Project Manager is responsible for directing all phases of projects from inception through completion and acts as primary customer contact to meet project objectives. This individual is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, risk mitigation, control, and cost-effective completion ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments, and goals.


Description of Job Duties/Responsibilities:


+ Ensure that projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget


+ Drive projects to completion on time with passion, drive, accountability, and problem solving


+ Coordinate internal & external resources and third parties/vendors for the successful execution of projects


+ Develop detailed project plans to track progress including mapping timelines & risk assessments


+ Manage relationships with clients and all stakeholders including negotiations and diplomacy while also acting as voice of customer


+ Leverage their technical capabilities to understand project nuances and details to ensure effective project completion and customer preparedness & handoff


+ Perform risk management to minimize project risks and take corrective actions


+ Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors


+ Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation per internal and external requirements


+ Promote a positive, team environment on both the company and client side


+ Communicate effectively with clients to meet project scope and timeline deliverables


+ Track and report project status to management and clients on a regular basis


+ Lead project meetings and track progress on all open action item


Preferred Education/Qualifications:


+ Bachelor’s Degree (Engineering or technical preferred)


+ PMP certification (or in process) a plus although not required


+ Minimum 5 years’ experience successfully managing challenging manufacturing, assembly, and/or construction projects; Amusement Industry a plus


+ Proven ability to fight scope creep, effective risk assessment


+ Solid organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and ever-changing priorities


+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills including negotiation and diplomacy


+ Strong proficiency in Microsoft Project & Office (experience with CAD a plus)


+ Team oriented with a positive, get-it-done attitude


+ Occasional domestic and international travel
