The role of Avionics Supplier Project Engineer is to manage the scope, schedule, and budget, of the activities within the Aircraft Design and Product Development team. Your daily tasks will include proactive leadership in problem resolution, establishment of scope, schedule and budget for multiple projects, and execution of the related deliverables. You will also be coordinating internal and external activities between multiple technical functions.

In your role, you will:
Ensure our one of our Avionics key suppliers provides all deliverables on time for the Key Avionics projects
Manage and deliver on time, engineering supplier projects and activities related to major milestones for many existing and new platforms;
Manage cross-functional teams in the establishment of scope, schedule and budget of engineering projects;
Lead and coordinate technical Engineering Change planning, ensuring completeness and harmonization with stakeholders;
Enforce adherence to Bombardier practices and Knowledge Standards to promote integrity and consistency in technical engineering activities
Work closely with technical experts, business leaders, suppliers, and customer representatives to ensure adherence and compliance of projects scope, schedule, and budget;
Manage and establish engineering related priorities between projects and activities, complete strategic schedule analysis, and communicate and harmonize these priorities;
Identify and report on risks and lead risk mitigation planning and execution;
Prepare and present visibility reports for the various levels of the organization;
Coordinate and manage multi-site activities and remote participation as necessary;
Qualifications
As our ideal candidate,
You have an Engineering degree, or relevant diploma with equivalent working experience, with 5-12 years in project management;
You have a PMI accreditation and have managed projects/programs using its processes and principles;
You have experience in Avionic systems;
You have sound aircraft technical and/or manufacturing experience;
You demonstrate a professional attitude and superior communication skills (written & spoken);
You have excellent organizational, time management skills, foresight, accuracy, attention to detail and commitment to objectives and responsibilities;
You have a natural leadership and pro-active attitude with the ability to manage multiple priorities;
You are self-motivated, autonomous, enthusiastic and results oriented;
You are technically curious;
You demonstrate ability to work willingly and independently in a fast paced, challenging environment;
You have excellent problem-solving skills with ability to make good decisions to move projects along to meet or exceed the targets;
You are proficient with all MS Office products and have a very strong aptitude in data management.
You are willing to travel to U.S. to work at the supplier facilities.
