This job was posted by https://www.kansasworks.com : For more information, please see: https://www.kansasworks.com/ada/r/jobs/11260649 PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR 2nd SHIFTFULL TIMEMonthly SalaryWichita, KS, USRequisition ID: 1028The Production Supervisor position is responsible for coordinating the day to day productions activities while maintaining product quality.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Includes the following:Assists in the selection of production personnel as required.Provides training to new hires to ensure they can perform assigned duties safely.Over sees production processes, making adjustment in personnel and acquiring materials as needed to meet production goals.Evaluates employee performance on the job by addressing both positive and negative behaviors in a timely manner.Promotes a teamwork environment.Process timecards for payroll.Performs other related duties as assigned to support the organization.QUALIFICATIONSGood interpersonal skills.Must be able to modify work schedule to accommodate the work assignments and work overtime as needed to fulfill job requirements.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus.MATHEMATICAL SKILLSBasic math skills.REASONING ABILITIESAbility to identify and resolve problems effectively.Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks.PHYSICAL DEMANDSMust be able to stand and walk throughout the factory up to 10 hours per day.Ability to stoop, squat, and bend repeatedly.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; use hands and fingers to manipulate objects, handle, or feel; and talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms.
