Description
JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for providing training in job specific areas of knowledge or on-the-job capabilities needed for various Supply Chain Management (SCM) needs and applications within Textron Aviation.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prepares course outlines, develops and provides training aids/standard work, schedules, and conducts training activities emphasizing procurement tools available in SCM
Coordinates and delivers training for all levels and areas of SCM including existing team members, new hires, external suppliers, and intern/coop students
Communicates and works with all levels of SCM to identify and prioritize training needs.
Develops and delivers training using different methods including; 1:1, TEAMS, in person, groups, and Brainshark
Develops and provides a comprehensive curriculum for internal team members, new hires, and external suppliers.
Revises curriculum to support new processes, ideas, and methods to maintain a top-level training program
Assists in selecting and training subject matter experts as necessary to support training needs
Assist other areas by facilitating training with internal teams and external suppliers including, Contracts & Compliance, Legal, Defense, etc.
Facilitates and develops online training site for end-users
Maintains contact with colleges, training organizations and associations (ISM & APICS) regarding new training developments and educational programs
Maintains training records and course materials
EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree required
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or other related field required. In lieu of a degree, minimum 4 years relevant experience.
Exposure to SAP or similar system, Manufacturing, Operations, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or other related field
Familiarity with supply chain and/or production processes
Previous training experience preferred
Experience with procurement in SAP and “Procure to Pay” processes of SCM

Verbal and written communication skills in a professional business environment; including, strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with varying levels of professionals
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail and strong project management skills
Ability to adapt quickly to change and handle multiple projects simultaneously
Customer focus; demonstrated ability to build relationships with internal and external customers and have a desire for strong customer service
Conflict resolution skills
Exceptional in PC skills; including, MS Office and general database management
Presentation skills with various group sizes
Bias for customer service- proactive communication to customers and team members, delivers on commitments, and is knowledgeable and accurate regarding SCM requirements
Demonstrated ability to work independently
