POSITION DESCRIPTION




Position Title: Organizational Trainer


FLSA Status: Non-Exempt


Reports To: Training & Development


Manager


Department Name: Human Resources


Location: Wichita




The Organizational Trainer position will be focused primarily in Operations, teaching two-week training classes for Electronics Test Operators, writing procedural documentation, and delivering specialized courses based on Operations policy. Semiconductor experience is not required but experience training in a production environment is preferred. The selected candidate will spend 6-8 weeks training full-time in a production Test Operator role, learning the intricacies of the position before then leading new classes of new hires




POSITION SUMMARY


Administer, organize, modify, and conduct organizational training programs solutions to meet development and performance needs for new and current employees of Integra Technologies in support of the organization’s goals. Assist in streamlining and continually improving the organizational training program.






KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE


+ Plan, organize, and conduct training session for new hires, ensuring that they have the most effective training needed to be effective in their new roles.


+ Create, review and update, as needed, organizational training content and develop training platforms and tools based on solicited input in alignment with changing organizational processes and procedures.


+ Provide input, administer and oversee on-the-job training and other training programs as needed in collaboration with leadership.


+ Partner with leadership and with employees to determine training needs and schedule training sessions in a timely manner.


+ Administer and evaluate training program qualification tests and determine eligibility of prospective attendees.


+ Initiate training record reviews to ensure accuracy and identify opportunities for further training.


+ Lead cross-training initiatives while facilitating opportunities for employees to expand their skillsets.


+ Review, prepare and distribute training aids such as instructional material, handouts, evaluation forms, and visual aids. Set up audiovisual equipment and make presentations when necessary.


+ Communicate new hire progress and performance with appropriate team members. Follow up as needed.


+ Responsible for in-depth and firm understanding of organizational processes to continually update training material while ensuring the ability to provide assistance as needed with hands-on training.


+ Flexibi lity to perform other duties as assigned.




JOB REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE




Education: High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) required.




Experience: At least one year of Semiconductor testing experience and/or one year of organizational training preferred.




Knowledge/Skills:


+ Effectively and efficiently utilize Microsoft Office and other computer products and programs.


+ Utilize effective communication skills to achieve required results while remaining professional through appropriate conduct and demeanor at all times.


+ Ability to remain flexible with work schedule dependent on the training needs of our internal customers, in order to deliver training opportunities for all shifts.


+ Anticipate and resolve complex, non-routine problems.


+ Display a willingness to learn and understand all facets of organizational processes and procedures.


+ Professionally conduct and lead training sessions in a classroom environment.


+ Understand adult learning theory and optimal organizational training methods with the ability to adapt current methods and material.


+ Accurately track and maintain data and utilize the data to determine opportunities
