In your role, you will:
Adhere to Bombardier General Work Requirements
Perform managerial responsibilities, for example/hire, disciplinary actions, PMP, and professional development
Oversee and lead all Service Centers capacity planning/scheduling functions, for example, staffing forecasts, hanger plans, and material and capitalized tooling/GSE requirements and standardize platform pricing
Coordinate department activities across all Service Centers. Identify best practice and implement as standard procedures, process for proper integration of their functions with data processing, planning, scheduling and production control activities providing work packages and work flows for each aircraft, related analysis and reporting
Oversee data processing and production planning/control plans and projects including the regular reports on status, overall performance, problems, and related matters
Oversee, review, and/or conduct feasibility and cost evaluation studies in support of new program and product offerings
Provide guidance and monitor progress on major systems projects
Oversee, develop and/or coordinate readiness plans for new customers as required by assigned site(s)
Be responsible to develop and maintain man-hour data models that quantify maintenance costs for every aircraft type to support new aircraft sales and heavy maintenance offerings at the time of new aircraft sales as well as any proposals required for ongoing maintenance activities
Be responsible to analyze maintenance requirements, costs and associated “out of service times” of competitors’ aircraft
Be responsible to coordinate requests for assistance, so as to support the RFP process and quotes from Regional Managers, Director of Sales & Marketing, BAS Service Centers and production facilities.
Qualifications
As our ideal candidate,
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
You typically have a minimum of 7 years related experience in an aircraft service facility
You typically have a minimum of 3 years progressive planning and scheduling supervisory experience working in Aviation Services Industry
You have a bachelor degree in Business or Aviation Management or equivalent experience
You have thorough knowledge of process improvement methodology and application (e.g., Six Sigma)
You have working knowledge of accounting and budgeting principles necessary to read and interpret profit/loss statements, financial reports & statements so as to meet financial objectives for assigned area and programs
You have working knowledge of aircraft types, maintenance programs, fleet operations and planning / scheduling systems
You have negotiation skills necessary to bring satisfactory resolution on company’s behalf concerning external and internal customer requirements
You have business acumen with strong written and verbal facilitation and presentation skills
You have computer skills necessary to learn and/or operate word processing, spreadsheet, database, email, and web-based and operating system (SAP) and Pivotal applications
You have interpersonal skills necessary to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, employees, management and contractors
You have thorough knowledge of industry trends with familiarity with customers practices and capabilities
You have working knowledge of FAA and Federal Aviation Requirements
ADDITIONAL DESIRED/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
You have previous Business Process Re-engineering (BPR) and / or change management experience (preferred)
You have previous training and experience in Project management (preferred)
