Join a leading aerospace machine and assembly shop located in Wichita, Kansas. They are currently seeking a full-time CNC Programmer with Mastercam experience to join their team. Responsibilities
Develop, optimize, and maintain CNC programs using Mastercam software for aerospace
components.
Collaborate closely with engineers and machinists to translate complex aerospace
engineering drawings and specifications into efficient CNC programs.
Implement toolpath strategies to achieve tight tolerances and adhere to aerospace
industry standards.
Perform machine setup, tool changes, and tool offset adjustments for multiple-axis CNC
machines.
Conduct in-process and post-process inspections to guarantee the highest level of quality
and compliance with aerospace regulations.
Troubleshoot and resolve programming and machining issues to minimize production
downtime.
Maintain a strong commitment to safety, quality, and adherence to aerospace-specific
requirements and documentation.
The essential functions of this role include:
manual lifting up to 50lbs
standing for 8 hours at one time
Skills
CNC (2 years of experience is preferred)
mastercam (2 years of experience is preferred)
programming (2 years of experience is preferred)
