Omni Aerospace is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. You will be reporting directly to our General Manager. This is a great opportunity if you want to be a part of a growing organization with a small company feel. This is an in-office position, you must live within a commutable distance from Wichita. We are looking to hire someone quickly, so this opportunity wont be around long!
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Define and document requirements for processes and products.
Internal subject matter expert on customer specifications and requirements.
Develop work instructions and create planning documentation.
Review and validate teammates planning documentation.
Error proof processes and develop close teaming relationships with CNC programming, CNC machinists, assembly mechanics and quality teammates.
Lead and support process optimizations and trouble shooting of product or processes.
Evaluate new processes/technologies and associated return on investments.
Other duties as assigned by management.
