Duties/Responsibilities
- Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, and production machines; following diagrams, operations manuals, manufacturers instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.
- Inspecting and assessing the functionality of production machines
- Troubleshooting and repairs mechanical breakdowns in a timely manner
- Adjusting mechanical parts using hand and machine tools
- Fabricating parts for repairs and machine upgrades
- Conducting routine maintenance and safety checks
- Controls downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques; monitoring compliance.
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations including cleaning ups spills and emptying chips and coolant.
