Pay: $14.66 per hour Work Schedule: M-Th 8-5:30; F 8-12/1-5 Performs and provides patient oriented support and duties to assist the clinical staff and providers in performing their duties and carrying out the necessary functions required in accordance with established policies and procedures and under the direct supervision of the General Clinic Program Manager. Interacts with Spanish-only speaking clients in Spanish as needed.Provide Quality Public Services through direct patient care and education.Provide services to assigned percentage of encounters based on staffing availability.Accurately enter the minimal required information on the pharmacy log as documented in charts and KIPHS as evident through monthly pharmacy audit.Schedule screening or diagnostic test per Mid-Level Provider (MLP) order(s) and record required data in assigned monitor log(s).Assure Quality Public Services by providing excellent customer services and accurate data documentation.Complete required program data collection forms (DAISEYs) by the end of business day.Obtain, review, and document clients' medical/health history, consent(s), vital signs, lab specimen(s) and other required information in appropriate forms per program policy and protocol.Provide excellent customer services by responding timely to internal/external customers' questions or inquiries as evident through quarterly customer satisfaction surveySupport SC and DOH strategic plans by ensure success of programs' goals and objectives are met.Support clinic program by working with team members to ensure that programs' goals and objectives are met.Timely correction of audit errors.Participate in at least one QI project per year. Minimum Qualifications: High School diploma or GED; Certificate of Completion from an accredited medical assistant program/school; and successfully completed the medical assistant board certification exam. Current certification by American Medical Technologists or American Association of Medical Assistants. Current CPR certification. Bilingual in English and Spanish. Must be able to pass the SCDOH-approved fluency test.
