Responsibilities

Defines improvement projects aligned with business strategies throughthe use of Just-In-Time/ Lean manufacturing tools and techniques.Facilitates and coaches projects and subsystems of Lean activities frominception through completion and acts as primary customer contact tomeet project objectives. Catalyst for initiating change activities andcoaches for sustaining momentum. Develop and implementing Leanimprovement plans and schedules, ensuring accuracy and timelycompletion, conducting reviews and overseeing improvement activities(i.e. 5S, kitting, and Mechanic Verification.) Disciplines are relatedto project management, communication, training, program governance andproblem solving skills.

Key Accountabilities • Identify process waste and develop opportunities to eliminate the waste • Prioritize CI initiatives utilizing simple logic (ease of implementation vs benefit) • Develop & project manage CI plans and schedules • Understand interdependencies of a system • Ability to influence leaders and educate them on CI principles to gain buy-in on improvements • Ability to network and build relationships • Ability to access to data/information needed • Integrate with operations and the support teams regularly

Qualifications

Preferred Skills:

• Six Sigma

Educational Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in an IE, ME, Project Management or related study • 3 plus years related work experience
