Clean Harbors Engineer Project Senior in Wichita, Kansas
TITLE: Engineer Project Senior
Duties : Manage engineering projects in timely manner and within budget. Develop capital budgets with professionals/paraprofessionals. Develop project costs, prepare and submit funding requests for approval. Research equipment standardization, availability, and sparing philosophies. Provide guidance, training, and support to other engineers, plant management, and operations in areas of process technology. Prepare project specifications. Lead teams to implement plant-wide initiatives and strategies to meet long and short plans. Obtain vendor and contractor quotes. Prepare project specifications. Communicate status of projects with senior management. Lead and review MOC’s. Participate in PHA activities and incident investigations. This position requires 50% domestic travel and 5% international travel.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field and five (5) years of experience as a Process Engineer, Refinery Engineer or related role where required experience gained.
SPECIAL SKILLS: Also requires experience in the following:
Project Management and methodology;
OSHA regulations and appropriate codes;
ASME and API standards; and
Developing and managing capital budgets.
