POSITION SUMMARY

Oversee the daily operations of the Configuration Management Department. Provide technical support by interpreting customer requirements, the quote and industry and military specifications. Identify and manage the implementation of continuous improvement activities while ensuring quality standards are met and are effectively communicated.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE

  • Manage the team responsible for converting customer requirements into internal executable processing travelers for use in production activities.Ensure accuracy of team output via correctly interpreting the combination of customer SOW\'s, component specifications, industry/military specifications, Integra Sales quote and additional input such as emails and change order requests.
  • Maintain a general understanding of the Integra processing capabilities, internal processing methods and process controls in order to provide effective processing instructions via the process traveler.
  • Support the Configuration Management team by being the technical SME point of contact.
  • Coordinate the maintenance and updates of departmental documentation.
    1. Ensure departmental procedures (QDMs) and internal work aide documents (IWA) are kept current.
    2. Assist with interpretation, implementation and maintenance of customer specifications. Work directly with Sales and/or customer for clarifications and discrepancy resolution.
    3. Provide departmental training on procedures, work aides and external specifications.
    4. Coordinate random audits of processes as needed to confirm process effectiveness.

{=html} <!-- --> - Provide required details for vendor purchase requisitions in support of customer requirements. - Initiate and implement change orders to improve current flows and routings. - Develop processes, procedures and efficiencies within the Configuration Management Department to meet and exceed performance expectations in support of company goals, including time from PO (Purchase Order) receipt to routing release. - Effectively address escalated situations with customers, provide tools to the team to assist in avoiding and/or addressing escalations, and ensure appropriate backup to team members as needed. - Establish and implement standardized wording for all production flows and routings. - Manage master processing table used in the routing build process. - Reduce the employee hours per PO required to produce a released routing. This includes finding ways to accelerate PO review, flow builds, and routing builds. - Maintain a Zero Defects performance standard at all times. Evaluate root causes of errors identified with released routings to implement process adjustments to strive for the Zero Defects goal. - Flexibility to perform other duties as assigne
