Emprise Bank Compliance Specialist in Wichita, Kansas

We are currently seeking a Compliance Specialist to join our team in Wichita, Kansas. This role is an integral part of Emprise Bank’s Compliance department by assisting with bank compliance, BSA compliance, process administration and communication.

Essential functions of the role:

  • Complete compliance monitoring and report findings and corrective action to management

  • Research regulatory requirements and regulatory questions

  • Review BSA/AML alerts to identify unusual or suspicious transaction activity

  • Process daily legal requests per procedures and contact court representatives, clarify requests, and submit payments through general ledger accounts

  • Coordinate legal requests with other departments and respond as required

  • Document standard operating procedures to ensure consistency, review for efficiency and effectiveness, and collaborate across departments to seek improvements

  • Other duties as assigned within the scope of responsibility of the job

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • 5+ years of banking experience required

  • Proficiency with large server-based applications and typical desktop software required

  • Previous legal experience preferred
