The Role

Provides numerical control, machining, and programming technicalexpertise to cross-functional engineering and manufacturing teams.Establishes technical requirements for manufacturing and producibility.Plans, creates, verifies, and revises machine control data anddocumentation that directs the operations for numerically controlledmachines and robots required to manufacture and inspect parts, tools andassemblies. Plans and guides the development and integration of newmachining techniques and manufacturing methods, processes, and software.

Key Accountabilities

• Provides numerical control, machining, and programming technical expertise to cross-functional engineering and manufacturing teams.• Establishes technical requirements for manufacturing and production• Plans, creates, verifies, and revises machine control data and documentation that directs the operations for numerically controlled machines and robots required to manufacture and inspect parts, tools and assemblies. • Prepare customer approval drawings and manufacturing details, i.e. exploded views, etc.

• Must be able to read and interpret the drawings and specifications for manufacturing requirements including GD&T.

Skills & Experience

REQUIRED SKILLS & EDUCATION:

• 5+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment• High School diploma with 3+ years’ CMM & CATIA Programming• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings• Ability to problem solve and multi-task• Experience with CATIA V5• Proficient with GD&T• Ability to interpret and edit Machine Control Data

PREFERRED SKILLS & EDUCATION:• Experience with Metrologic• CMM Programming• Bachelor of Science• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite• Background in Quality
