Duties and Responsibilities:


• Create CMM inspection programs using PC-DMIS software, including set-up instructions.• Perform in-process and final dimensional inspection using CMM and conventional inspection methods• Create First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR) including recording results on AS9102 forms• Prepare detailed inspection documentation such as written descriptions of inspection results including deviations from engineering specifications• Assist engineers with qualification and validation of new or changed tooling or parts.• Analyze problem parts and suggest potential root case and corrective/preventive actions• Initiate Non-Conformance Reports• Generate ideas and suggestions for reducing inspection turnaround time.• Performance shall be within the guidelines of the company’s policies and procedures


• Minimum Requirements:• High school diploma or GED or equivalent; at least one (3) years of related experience and/• or training;• US Citizen or Permanent Resident (ITAR compliance)• Working knowledge of Coordinate Measuring Machines with DCC controls• Familiarity with PC DMIS v2010• ISO9001 experience preferred• Proficient blueprint GD&T and shop math skills• Experience in inspection of parts to customer drawings and specification• Working knowledge of inspection gages (i.e. calipers, micrometers, bore gages, height gages, air gages, radius gages, etc.)• Knowledge of customer engineering specifications• Ability to read, interpret, and apply customer defined standards and specifications• Ability to learn quickly, adapt, and apply knowledge in a fast-paced environment• Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime as necessary to meet customer expectations• Good verbal and written communication skills, and ability to read and write English• Willingness to question anything that doesn’t make sense or may be in error• Continuous Improvement:• Contribute feedback to improve quality and on time delivery• Embrace change to ensure overall success of the company
