The Channel Sales Representative is responsible for selling Pillr professional, development, and business services to commercial, state, local and education establishments in their defined market, by performing the following tasks:

  • Utilize all available resources to identify prospective clients to build pipeline of opportunities and close new business both MSP and potential End User companies. This should include, but is not limited to: Seamless, LinkedIn, CRM, Trade Show leads, Networking Groups, Distribution Partnerships, Technology Partnerships, and existing customers (referrals);
  • Establishes and updates a constant pipeline of opportunities, managing to 30, 60, 90 and 120 day close dates;
  • Establishes relationships with Pillr Vendor sales counterparts in Distribution and technology partners in defined markets with purpose of establishing joint business together;
  • Completes all required training for current Pillr offerings, and individually seek and learn about Cybersecurity tools / solutions / and competitive offerings in SOCaaS / MDR / SIEM/SOC solutions; share training and lessons learned with fellow Pillr sales team;
  • Responsible for maintaining this knowledge and updating skills as needed; seek guidance from management for new ideas to keep skills and knowledge up to date;
  • Travels through assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers and vendor partners to solicit opportunities;
  • Continually enters and maintains current and new customer data, opportunity, forecast and other sales data for clients into company CRM program;
  • Assume full ownership of all documents being delivered to the customer, ensuring proper grammar, spelling and overall professional delivery of content;
  • Analyzes customer\'s (existing and prospective) needs, strategize and game plan with sales leadership, pre-sales, and support to understand customer requirements to sell Pillr solutions;
  • Delivers sales presentations, tailor messaging specific to meet customer requirements, be active participant in Demos and Onboardings to help drive opportunities to closure, and where applicable (Pen Tests, IR) ensure accurate Statements of Work (SOW) are delivered to clients;
  • Quotes prices and credit terms and prepares sales contracts for orders obtained for direct to partner opportunities;
  • Maintains client relationships and responsible for negotiating and closing all deals, and working in coordinated manner with distribution sellers to maximize selling opportunities;
  • Responsible for 100% Customer Satisfaction of all engagements, orders and Pillr business;
  • Develops and implements individual sales goals with manager input to accomplish corporate goals;
  • Reviews market analysis to determine best methods and process to satisfy customer requirements with Pillr offerings;
  • Works with Director of Sales to coordinate sales and establishing sales quotas and goals;
  • Represents company at trade association meetings or vendor events to promote company;
  • Prepares periodic territory sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion;
  • Prepares reports of business transactions and manages expenses appropriately with management approval and guidance;

The Channel Sales Representative duties are not limited to the above responsibilities and are subject to change at Managements discretion.
