Spirit AeroSystems Cash & Insurance/Risk Analyst in Wichita, Kansas

Responsibilities

Key Accountabilities:

  • Treasury/Cash & Risk Management

  • Bank Administration (assist with bank account opening/closure, signer changes; fee management; online banking applications and services; and, other activities as needed).

  • Cash Management (daily monitoring and reconciliation of cash activity and bank balances across multiple legal entities; support daily processing of cash to include wire transfer requests; validation of receipts/disbursements activity; and, strategically manage daily cash investment positioning and reporting).

  • Cash Forecast (support weekly cash forecast reporting through collaboration with various Spirit programs and geographical sites; understand and present changes to management; and, help drive improvement and automation of existing forecast and reporting processes).

  • Compliance (support the monitoring of internal cash controls and fraud prevention practices; completion of quarterly and/or semi-annual SOX controls reporting).

  • Supporting traditional insurance/risk management functions such as claims management activities and insurance policy renewal process.

  • Process insurance premium invoices and issue certificates of insurance.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Bachelors in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business.

  • 1-3 years corporate business, finance, accounting, or cash management experience.

    Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint skillsets

  • Analytical and problem-solving capabilities

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks with tight deadlines.
