Develop, distribute, and coordinate in-depth end-user reviews for modified and new systems or applications.
Meet with decision makers, systems owners, and end users to define business, financial, and operations requirements and systems goals, and identify and resolve systems issues.
Identify and establish scope and parameters of systems analysis to define outcome criteria and measurements taking actions.
Collaborate in the planning, design, development, and deployment of new applications, and enhancements to existing applications.
Review and analyze existing systems and develop effective and efficient strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems.
Create systems models, specifications, diagrams and charts to provide direction to system programmers.
Serve as the primary contact between the organization and the software development team.
Manages subcontractor relationships.
Work with Project Management to develop project timelines and budgets.
Coordinate and perform in-depth testing.
Provide orientation and training to end users.
Latitude and Impact of Position
This position works daily to obtain information, provide input, and problem solve independently and as part of a team, while researching and using extensive technical and industry knowledge. Most work projects are assigned, then the employee arranges his/her work tasks for completion within established timeframes. Decision making may be done independently when related to own work tasks and when decisions do not impact other departments. All purchase requests require supervisory approval. Successful completion of job tasks impacts internal systems, processes and procedures, operating costs, and customer satisfaction.
