Fabricate, install and repair, including, but not limited to, machine guards, exhaust hoods, ducts, cabinets or other items of equivalent complexity: Construction of sheet metal equipment for plant facilities, including sheet metal layout where no true view exists. Make sheet metal office and restaurant equipment. Fabricate, assemble, disassemble, install, alter and repair all types of sheet metal parts, assemblies and new installations including sectionalized equipment.
Have minimum knowledge of methods of identifying unknown metals and the proper processes of working with them.
Have a minimum knowledge of shapes, weights and sizes of materials and how to use them.
Have a minimum knowledge of layout and design of structures, architectural and mechanical.
Be able to operate a Shear, a Brake, a Spot welder grinders, dotcos
Work in conformance with local, state and federal codes and regulations, blueprints, specifications, trade practice, shop practice and verbal or written instructions. Maintain any licenses or certificates as required by local, state and federal codes and regulations within the geographical area, as pertains to the individual skill set performing such work.
All applicants must be willing and able to work any shift
4 years’ experience working with sheet metal frabrication
Journeyman’s license or trade school preferred
