CTG is seeking to fill anAWS Cloud Engineeropening for our client based in Irving, Texas.
Location: Remote, work from home
Duration: 5 months
We’re looking for a dynamic cross-functional developer to join the product development team. You will have the opportunity to work as part of a dynamic team to design and deploy analytic platforms and solutions on AWS that support company clients.
Essential Job Functions:
Work Collaboratively to architect and deploy analytic solutions on AWS (Lambda, S3, RDS, Glue/Spark, Redshift, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, API Gateway)
Familiarity with cloud security and compliance paradigms (HiTRUST/FedRAMP).
Leads or provides senior level guidance in the planning and direction of the project to meet required objectives.
Applies specialization to conceptualize, design, construct, test and implement portions of business and technical information technology solutions through application of appropriate BI and analytic methodology.
Maintains communications with customers, end users, suppliers, sub-contractors and vendors as appropriate in order to ensure appropriate designs. Researches and gathers information for highly complex customer requirements. Makes recommendations as necessary.
Provides leadership and work guidance to less experienced personnel and ensures delivery meets clients and contractual expectations.
Supports developing new business proposals and introduces new technology to enhance business solutions.
Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
10 years or more years of experience with analytics and business intelligence concepts and technologies
5+ years experience in at least 10 analytic concepts, 2+ years experience in deploying infrastructure on AWS to support analytic pipelines. Analytic Concepts: Analytic business consulting, Data analysis and profiling, extract transform and load (ETL), historical data retention, audit, balance and control (ABC), real-time data integration, data engineering: columnar database, data engineering: cubes and on-line analytical processing (OLAP), internet of things (IoT) , data retention, data protection, data archiving and information management testing AWS Concepts: S3, Glue, Athena, Lambda, RDS, Redshift, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, VPC, Subnets, Transit Gateways, Workspaces
Manage and run: install and configuration, L1/L2 support, system issue resolution
5+ years experience at least 5 market leading analytic technologies, 2+ years experience with AWS/Azure.
Expertise with coding in one or more of the following: Node.JS, Python 2.x/3.x, Unix, awk, sed, Typescript.
Familiarity with IaaC deployment (CloudFormation/Terraform).
Familiarity with cloud security and compliance programs (HiTRUST/FedRAMP).
AWS Solution Architect Associate certification required.
Strong presentation and written communication skills.
Strong client and team relationship management to understand personal perspectives and become a trusted advisor
Strong team relationship management to understand direction and assist in resolving technical issues
Work successfully manage onshore and offshore technical teams to successfully implement the required solution
