Aerotek Avionics Technician in Wichita, Kansas
Avionics Technicians will be working on top-of-the-line corporate aircraft in either the Service Center or Flight Test Center
Assist with performing avionics and electrical calibrations and functional tests on systems including: communication, navigation, equipment, AC/DC power distribution, secondary flight controls, autopilot system, electrical portions of anti-ice systems, fuel quantity, fuel control system, climate control system, and pressurization system
Assist with troubleshooting and repairing avionics and electrical systems prior to and after functional tests, which may include performing repairs at the component-level as required
Aircraft include: Challenger, Global, Learjet
May also work on military versions of the Global models in the Flight Test Center
Previous experience working with avionics or electronics systems on aircraft
Tools are required
$25/hr - $47/hr
Per Diem split available for those who qualify
Candidates should be open to multiple different shifts
They have current openings on 1st and 2nd Shift (Monday through Friday) and Weekend shift (Friday through Sunday)
40-50 hours per week expected
