Posting Number: 21-00080-UP/FA Post Position Title: Assistant Professor-Communication Position Number: 998026 Full Time **Summary of Responsibilities** The Elliott School of Communication at Wichita State University seeks a full-time, tenure-eligible assistant professor in the Integrated Marketing Communications area, the largest concentration in the school. We are looking for collegial candidates with a demonstrated commitment to excellence in research, teaching, and service for appointment beginning August 2021. Specifically, we seek scholars who bring special expertise in Integrated Marketing Communications (Public Relations and Advertising). IMC courses may include branding, account management, strategy, social media, analytics, measurement and evaluation techniques, and skills classes. The successful candidate will have opportunities to teach in both the graduate and undergraduate program depending on needs of the school, including courses in a new professionally oriented graduate degree in communication. The standard workload for an assistant professor is three courses each semester. Compensation commensurate with qualifications, education, and experience. Ph.D. required (though ABD will be considered). Industry experience is not required, but welcome. **Minimum Education** Ph.
