Summary of Responsibilities
This is a unique position that includes teaching, systems analysis, and technology business relationship responsibilities. This position will teach an average of six credit hours per fall and spring semester, 5 credit hours per summer, ranging from remedial mathematics through Calculus II and elementary statistics. Other responsibilities will be to serve as the department system analyst and the business relationship manager forLASCollege.\ \
Minimum Education
Masters degree or higher in the Mathematical Sciences
Minimum Experience
- - 1+ years of mathematics instruction at a 4 year university - 1+ years experience in Microsoft and Linux operating system management - 1+ years experience in computational mathematics (academic research, programming, and/or instruction) - 1+ years experience in online course instruction and/or development
US Export Compliance Requirement
This position requires access toEARorITARcontrolled technologies. Applicants are required to be eligible for employment under U.S. export control laws and must meet the requirement of being a U.S. Citizen.
