ASSISTANT CONSUMER LENDING SALES OFFICER

The candidate for this position will assist customers with their consumer lending needs in person, by phone and online channels. The candidate will participate in sales development activities and cross sell other Fidelity Bank products and services to benefit the customer. Specifically, this position will facilitate the loan process for entry-level borrowers, coordinate mortgage referrals and assist with branch education. In addition, this candidate will take the lead on entering in web-applications into the loan operating system.

The candidate for the position will work directly with customers to process loan applications and help them secure financing, conducting in-depth research related to the applicant’s creditworthiness by pulling credit reports and verifying a history of on-time payments, as well as using a variety of methods to reach out to potential customers and provide information on loan products and procedures, ensuring they have a positive borrowing experience, that they return to the loan officer for future loans, and that they refer their associates to the same financial institution.

Requirements for this position include a high school diploma (or equivalent), a minimum of two years lending experience preferred, strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent public-relations skills, effective coordination and communication between team members is vital, and the ability to work late and/or flexible hours required.
