Omni Aerospace is seeking an experienced 3rd Shift 5 Axis CNC Machine Operator to join our team. Our 3rd shift hours are currently Friday - Sunday, 6am 6:30pm. You will work 36 hours and get paid for 40 hours. You will be reporting directly to our Production Supervisor. This is a great opportunity if you want to be a part of a growing organization with a small company feel. This is an in-office position, you must live within a commutable distance from Wichita. We are looking to hire someone quickly, so this opportunity wont be around long! \$1,000 signing bonus paid out over the first year.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Validate correct material is loaded per the work order traveler
- Ensure part is loaded with correct grain direction
- Secure part within the holding fixture
- Ensure the programmed dimensions are loaded into the machine correctly
- Monitor 1st part run at every operation and obtain first part buy off by inspection
- Deburr parts as needed
- Complete necessary paperwork and clocking within ERP system
