Spirit AeroSystems 2024 Summer Intern: Program Management (Center of Excellence) in Wichita, Kansas

Responsibilities

Flight begins with you at Spirit AeroSystems, a place where you can explore your interests and grow your career by working on impactful projects. As a Program Management intern, you can expect to:

  • Develop a database using Smartsheet software to organize program assessment data

  • Develop a database using Smartsheet software to assist the program gate process

  • Help maintain the Program Management Center of Excellence website ensuring links and information are up to date

  • Assist in the review of Policies and Procedures of Program Management Center of Excellence

  • Work to support Program Management Center of Excellence in reviewing AS9100 Audit results to ensure awareness of risk

  • Have Good Organization skills and a process focused mindset

  • Be a Self-Starter with an ability to look at the bigger picture for process flow

    Also, should you be selected as a 2024 Spirit AeroSystems Summer Intern, you will have exposure to several activities including:

  • Multiple Manufacturing Plant Tours

  • Professional development workshops

  • Project Expo (An opportunity to present an intern project for Executive Leaders)

  • Social/Networking Events

Qualifications

· You must be a US Person (US Citizen or US Permanent Resident) · You must be enrolled full time in a university degree program aligned to the area of internship. · You must be a current sophomore, junior, senior or graduate student in good academic standing.
