Responsibilities

Flight begins with you at Spirit AeroSystems, a place where you can explore your interests and grow your career by working on impactful projects. As a Corporate Affairs intern you can expect to:

• Gain skills, leadership and hands-on experience while exploring careers associated with your field of study

• Build relationships with mentors to provide insight into your career goals

• Do challenging work on individual and team projects that may include communications, community campaign planning, and event support

• Network with other students, Spirit employees and the community through planned recreational, volunteer, and social activities

  Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  Corporate Affairs consists of jobs that facilitate and support other occupations across the entire company. Interns will support communication efforts involving companywide messaging, social media management, along with internal and external branding/marketing. These jobs exist within most business units.

  Also, should you be selected as a 2024 Spirit AeroSystems Summer Intern, you will have exposure to several activities including:

• Multiple Manufacturing Plant Tours

• Professional development workshops

• Project Expo (An opportunity to present an intern project for Executive Leaders)

• Social/Networking Events

Qualifications

· You must be a US Person (US Citizen or US Permanent Resident) · You must be enrolled full time in a university degree program aligned to the area of internship. · You must be a current sophomore, junior, senior or graduate student in good academic standing.
