Drive trucks to perform animal and crop raising duties. Harvest grain crops, monitor irrigation, repair equipment. Deliver grain to feed mill. Maintain rock barriers around barns, remove liquid residue from drainage pits and haul to liquid spreaders, repair/prepare barn curtains for winter. Workers will be expected to work every other weekend on a rotating basis. Exposure to extreme temp, repetitive movements, extensive pushing, pulling walking and frequent stooping Clean MVR, Speak/understand English, valid driver\'s license, must obtain PQA+ certification in 90 days Involves lifting and carrying of 50 lbs frequently
Employer will provide & Housing & (on a voluntary basis) transportation to assure workers access to stores where they can purchase groceries and/or other incidentals. Employer will furnish free and convenient cooking and kitchen facilities so workers may prepare their own meals.
The employer shall provide transportation between housing and worksite and for personal errands (e.g., groceries, banking services) in the form of pickup, car, van, or other common means controlled/operated by the employer between the place where the employer has provided housing to the actual work site and return at the end of the workday.
Worker may select any means of transportation and will be reimbursed at no less than the most economical and reasonable common carrier transportation charges for the distances involved. Employer provides or pays outbound travel costs to workers who complete the contract or are dismissed early. Return transportation will not be provided to workers who voluntarily resigns, abandons the job or are terminated for cause.
