Aerotek Structures Mechanic in Topeka, Kansas
*This position is located in Wichita, KS*
Description:
Perform sheet metal and composite assembly and development for military aircraft, primarily including stealth bombers and fighters
Inspect components and assemblies, including frames and skins, performing rework when necessary
Complete riveting, drilling, and countersinking
Complete composite layup, vacuum bagging, sanding, and cutting
Complete sealing of aircraft structures and components
Inspect components and assemblies, performing rework when necessary
Other duties may be assigned
Requirements:
2+ years of aircraft structures/composite experience
Active Secret Clearance
Tools are NOT required
Pay:
$45/hr
Per Diem split available for those that qualify
Work Schedule:
Must be flexible on shift (primarily 1st or 2nd shift)
Must be willing to work weekend OT as needed
Placement:
6+ month Contract, with extension very likely
We have contractors on the same program that have been there around 18 months
