Analyzes business needs to help ensure Oracle’s solution meets the customer’s objectives by combining industry best practices and product knowledge. Effectively applies Oracle’s methodologies and policies while adhering to contractual obligations, minimizing Oracle’s risk and exposure. As a position of professional influence, this individual frequently operates at the leading edge of technology. Recommends and justifies enhancements to Oracle products to meet very complex customer needs. Exercises creativity and independent judgment in identifying and resolving major issues and risks impacting project success. Provides direction and mentoring to project teams. As a thought leader and trusted advisor, effectively influences decisions at the leadership level of customer organizations. Ensures customer deliverables are acceptable, and works closely with the customer to understand and manage project expectations. Enables business development efforts by providing subject matter expertise. Manages the scope of medium to large-scale projects, and accounts with varying levels of complexity.
10+ years of experience relevant to this position including 3 years of project management experience. Demonstrated ability to follow solid project management principles and successfully manage projects of increasing complexity. Comfortable working in a matrix management environment. Strong influencing and negotiation skills to deal with internal stakeholders, customers, and vendors. Product, technology or industry expertise relevant to the portfolio focus. Selling skills preferred. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. PMI certification preferred. Ability to travel as needed.

The HGBU Consulting team is currently seeking industry top talent to help support our business transformation from an on-premises solution to a globally distributed, fully managed cloud solution. We are seeking individuals with high energy and a passion to learn new technologies while delivering excellent customer service.
Process improvement lead for the program team, collaborating with cross-functional resources, documenting and communicating key activities, changes in artifacts, reporting, etc.
Creating highly professional executive dashboards and weekly reports and presenting to Customer leadership (VP-level) on a weekly basis
Communications to broader HGBU teams around the Customer Program (i.e. newsletters)
Provide leadership to the Customer, Consulting, and Account Teams
Anticipate and proactively remediate issues internally and with customers
Excel at planning, execution and communication
Create and contribute to an environment that is geared to innovation, high productivity, high quality and customer service
Bachelor’s degree in a business or computer related field and 7+ years related experience in a best-in-class project management organization
Ability to create and deliver customer-facing status reports, dashboards, etc.
Must possess strong results orientation and a demonstrated ability to deliver against his/her strategy within challenging time frames
Must be an exceptional communicator and comfortable in presenting both in public and online to business and technical executives
Ability to succeed through collaboration and working through other internal and external organizations and individuals (a track record of delivering results within a matrix business environment)
Strong leadership capabilities and strong interpersonal skills required
Ability to learn quickly and adjust to changing priorities while maintaining a positive, can-do attitude
Sets high standards with respect to the treatment of customers and peers
