Sunrun Sr. Manager, Inventory Control in Topeka, Kansas

The Sr. Manager, Inventory Control will be responsible for implementing and maintaining a robust, highly effective inventory controls system for the Sunrun materials supply chain. The position will work cross-functionally to develop analytical methods and tools and conduct and oversee audits to improve inventory accuracy in Sunrun’s distribution centers and branch warehouses. A successful candidate must be able to thrive in a high growth environment, fast paced industry, and be comfortable working with innovation and changing priorities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Implement proactive solutions and programs to improve inventory accuracy across all Sunrun distribution center(s) (internal and 3PL) and branch warehouses

  • Manage and own the processes for cycle counting and inventory management by creating established process and ensuring alignment on KPI's across the supply chain

  • Lead the inventory team and foster a cohesive team environment

  • Maintain and ensure effective relationships with all supply chain and other (IT, Finance, Accounting, etc.) stakeholder partners

REQUIREMENTS (EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATIONS, AND OTHER SKILLS)

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • 15+ years related inventory management experience

  • 10+ years supervisory experience

  • Willing and able to travel as the job requires (approximately 35%)

  • Demonstrated success in strategy development and deployment regarding inventory management, inventory controls, and cycle counts

  • Demonstrated success in driving programs from problem identification through to implementation

  • Effective leadership skills in change management across broad cross-functional programs

  • Excellent organizational and project management skills

  • Demonstrate a strong ability to lead a team and a willingness to execute alongside team members; strong desire to drive improvement.

  • Possess exceptional organizational skills & attention to detail; Ability to work through macro and micro situations/complexity

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills; able to work productively with cross functional groups.

  • Strong skill set in spreadsheets and presentations and has the ability & interest in mastering new and available technical applications

Starting salary/wage for this opportunity:

$110,103.00 to $146,804.00

Other rewards may include annual bonus eligibility, which is based on company and individual performance, short and long term incentives, and program-specific awards.
